too much too little

It’s been a while since I wrote last. I keep doing things and thinking, I should really blog about that. Then I think, wait, there is too much to write and too little time. It’s ok though. Stephen has kept us so much more entertained w/ his excited adventures than I could have. Also, I started reading The Other Boleyn Girl for book club. I am already so into this book. It is a drastic change from the last one we read. I couldn’t even stop reading it while getting my hair cut this afternoon. Speaking of which. Sorry Natalie about being late getting home. I doesn’t normally take an hour and a half to get my hair cut (not colored). Thank you Megan for taking the kids off Nat’s hands so she and Tom could go to the temple.

Now, speaking of Tom. I took some fun pictures of our farm boys the other day. I will put up a couple, but not all, cuz that would just be too much.

This last one is our Dr. Pepper add. What do you think, should I send it in? j/k

So, Kas and Antoinette have both learned how to ride their bikes. I think it is funny that Kas really kept saying he had no interest in riding until his little sister started riding her. Let me tell you. It took 2 minutes for Kas to be around the horse pasture after he saw Addie doing it. Too funny.

Well, Zo got a hold of the scissors again last week. Know she has what I have finally determined to be the Parent Trap movie haircut. Poor girl was so mad at me for taking her to get it cut after her creation. She was even more mad while I took pictures of her screaming. Sorry Zo, I just couldn’t pass this one up.

I’ll take some cute ones of the post hair cut trauma in the next little while. She’s not happy w/ cameras right now.

I thought I’d put up one of the bird shots from when Mom and I went out last week as well. They are kinda fun. I framed a couple and now don’t really know what to do w/ them. I really don’t have any other bird pictures in my house. Oh well.

Today was my last day of work. You don’t know how hard it was to go today as Zo was standing on the front lawn screaming for me not to leave her. Popito was there sitting on the bench, but what was he supposed to do? Poor thing was horrible to him. I know she didn’t mean it. She just wanted her mommy not to leave her. I know, I’m a pretty big sucker.

Working at Ritz was fun, but it is time to move on. Luckily I have some friends there, so I will still get to go in and do some work. It just won’t be as cheap.

So now I think I will go take a bath and read my book. I can’t really just go to sleep when Stephen is not in town. I haven’t been to sleep before midnight all week. How do these ladies, whose husbands travel all the time, do it? I have felt completely awkward all week. Can’t wait til Sunday!

How’s all that for rambling?

  1. Man Elise, do I love you! All these pics are awesome. Check Addie out on her bike! I love the thumbs up and the one with Catcher giving us a big grin. When I say I love these photos it’s not just cause they’re good shots. It makes me feel like I’m not missing quite as much of my families lives. It really means a lot to me. Thank you!

    Oh, and poor Zo Zo!

  2. Hey- what did you find out about Art Masterpiece? Can we do it Wednesday? I’m doing mine at 9:30am. Maybe we could do it before or after?? Let me know…thanks!

  3. The pictures of all the boys out on the farm are great! I love them and I am sad that I am missing out.

MAN! Antoinette is getting so big! I can’t believe she doesnt even have training wheels! It’s really cool that Kas is riding with her. I remember having a ton of fun on our bikes out there. Not to mention how much quicker it is to ride to Nana B’s rather then walk. haha.

Poor Zo, I can feel her anger coming off my computer screen. LOL I am glad you finally updated so I can see what you are up to. I miss you and hopefully I can try to come out in the next weekend or two.
